"Sandy L. performed during the cocktail hour for my wedding on 4/22/23. She was absolutely amazing!!! Learned to play Zeppelin's "Rain Song" and it sounded so beautiful! Everyone was asking me about her during and after the wedding. I referred her to a friend that inquired about her for their wedding.

I highly recommend Sandy L. for any event you have, she's phenomenal!!"

"Sandy is not only an amazing musician, she also really knows how to connect deeply with children so that they come away from lessons and classes with more knowledge and more excitement for music. She is a very kind and just overall wonderful person. I highly recommend her."

“Flexible and easy to work with and oh, did I mention talented and engaging with the senior residents she was asked to perform for…?! In a word (or two), hire this lady, you won’t be sorry.”

“Jazz music is a world unto itself, and Sandy Lindop shines as bright as the sun. Her repertoire gently moves from steamy mid-summer evenings in the porch swing to the rich, intoxicating air of big city nightclubs. She’s gifted in a way that evokes a simpler time, with a voice that suggests a chanteuse. She’s what I would call a world class performer, with a modern yet timeless sensibility. In addition to that, my experience booking her for shows has always been a pleasure. She’s punctual, prepared, and maybe most importantly, very kind. I can call on her without much notice, and be met with only gratitude and enthusiasm. On a professional level, she is authentic from the first meeting to the final bow. Sandy is truly a gift to the Bay Area music community!”

“As a homeschooling mom, I really appreciate Sandy’s teaching style. She is gentle yet firm and has a way of getting the shyest kids to open up and have fun. Never did I think my child would perform in a recital but she did and she was great! We love Sandy!

“Sandy Lindop is a gem of a piano teacher. Our son Santiago has been taking lessons with Sandy for three years. During that time, he has tried his hands at blues, jazz, pop, classical, Latin and Afro-Cuban genres. He is motivated to play because Sandy makes the piano interesting, fun, and challenging. She is supportive and kind, while also keeping our 11-year old focused during remote learning. Santiago has enjoyed performing in Sandy’s recitals both in-person and online and feels confident enough to play songs that are experimental and some of which he improvises during performances. Santiago's repertoire is varied and fun. He often hears songs outside of class and brings them up as projects that he wants to take on--some of which are really challenging, but that Sandy makes him feel are within his reach. Sandy is also a great piano buddy for Santiago--her love of music and her musical ability is contagious. When Santiago has lessons with Sandy, it is as though he is playing with a good friend--they share jokes and talk while enjoying playing piano together. Santiago recently took on the trumpet and has easily transitioned to a new instrument due to the musical confidence that Sandy has helped him build. He often plays many songs on both instruments and also plays pieces with his sister (who plays violin). Sandy and Santiago have introduced our family to new music and new styles. His love of music and his talent has everything to do with the tutelage he has received from Sandy. We are grateful to Sandy for helping our son develop a talent and love of the piano.”

“We have had the pleasure of working with Sandy for the past few years. She has taught our daughter piano and our son ukulele. Her approach to teaching has been nothing but positive towards our children. She has made weekly lessons fun and the enthusiasm she incorporates into her teaching style has really encouraged our children to pick up their instruments in their free time and practice without us forcing them. Patience and making learning fun has always been our main goal with learning a new instrument. Sandy has definitely managed to keep our children's attention focused, while challenging them to grow musically.”

“Ms. Sandy is a wonderful and talented teacher. She is one of the best music teachers that I have ever seen. She plays and sings very well. Most importantly she is very patient and flexible. She is teaching my two sons (7, Logan and 11, Tyler) piano, guitar and ukulele for more than three years. Through the years, I can see how much improvement and progress they accomplished. During the music lessons, Tyler and Logan not only established the strong student and teacher relationship with Ms Sandy, they also fall in love with music. We are excited to continue the music journey with Ms. Sandy and I recommended her wholeheartedly to anyone considering piano and ukulele lessons.”

“Teacher Sandy has been teaching piano to my twin boys for the last three years. She has given them a solid foundation of piano and I know they will be able to carry that over for the rest of their lives. What I especially enjoy about her teaching style is how adaptive she is with her style. She wants to know what songs the kids are interested in and will find music they can learn to pique their interest to practice harder and more frequently. She is constantly finding ways to make learning piano fun and exciting. We love Sandy and know you will to!”
