Sandy L Bio:

Sandy L is a jazz influenced pianist and vocalist from San Francisco, CA, with over ten years of professional performance experience. She has played with multiple groups, including the SF Mission Hot Club and Dirty Cello. Sandy has also managed and performed with The Muted Jewel Tones, an all-female vocal harmony trio. In addition, she has had the honor of singing with the Merrie Old Christmas Carolers, the world's oldest and largest professional caroling organization.

She performs classic jazz standards from the 1920's-60's, transporting her listeners to their grandma’s favorite speakeasy. Without changing the atmosphere, she also blends in modern pieces and even some originals. Perfect for a 2am nightcap in New Orleans, a romantic date night, a classy cocktail hour, a sunny mid-afternoon brunch, and much much more. New to the east coast, but a longtime veteran to many venues, events, and music groups all over California.

Sandy’s musical journey started at a young age, having joined a children’s choir at age four. She soon went on to private vocal lessons, where she was trained as an opera singer. She performed in local opera companies and choirs throughout her early years, earning her a spot in the Vocal Department at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts High School. Here, Sandy found her love for Jazz. From there, she continued her education at Humboldt State, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in vocal and piano performance.

Sandy’s debut solo album, "Let's Go," was released in February and is readily available on major streaming platforms.

Testimonials

“Flexible and easy to work with and oh, did I mention talented and engaging with the senior residents she was asked to perform for…?! In a word (or two), hire this lady, you won’t be sorry.”

– Rachel Matthews, Lake Park Retirement- Oakland CA

“Sandy L. performed during the cocktail hour for my wedding on 4/22/23. She was absolutely amazing!!! Learned to play Zeppelin's "Rain Song" and it sounded so beautiful! Everyone was asking me about her during and after the wedding. I referred her to a friend that inquired about her for their wedding.

I highly recommend Sandy L. for any event you have, she's phenomenal!! “

-Elana Zabari, Bride

“Jazz music is a world unto itself, and Sandy Lindop shines as bright as the sun. Her repertoire gently moves from steamy mid-summer evenings in the porch swing to the rich, intoxicating air of big city nightclubs. She’s gifted in a way that evokes a simpler time, with a voice that suggests a chanteuse. She’s what I would call a world class performer, with a modern yet timeless sensibility. In addition to that, my experience booking her for shows has always been a pleasure. She’s punctual, prepared, and maybe most importantly, very kind. I can call on her without much notice, and be met with only gratitude and enthusiasm. On a professional level, she is authentic from the first meeting to the final bow. Sandy is truly a gift to the Bay Area music community!”

-Trixie Rasputin of Trixie Rasputin Presents

“I had the great pleasure of having Sandy Lindop play at my annual Halloween Party last year. Sandy did a fantastic job of selecting and performing fun and appropriate music for the kids section of the party. She was a consummate professional during her entire set, which lasted about an hour and a half. I look forward to hiring her again for this year’s party.”
